Financial update

As of today, God has supplied $29,668. Keep praying with us that he will bring in the remaining $49,332 that we need.

We're so grateful to all of you who are supporting us.

You guys are doing such a great job of updating this blog and making it interesting to read! Thanks for spending the time to keep it current with your latest preparations, finances, thoughts, etc.

Yay! I am becoming more and more excited about how the Lord is going to use you in Cameroon! Your desire to do His will and willingness to accomplish His purposes is encouraging to me!

But it's the comments I thrive on!! Does anyone have any suggestions for posts? Any information on our trip or about ourselves that would be interesting? We could discuss how Charlie's year in Africa will affect his elgibility as a bachelor once he returns. Just an idea...

Carlie will always be a "shtood mueffin" in my eyes. A year in Africa won't change that!
Besides, tg, what does a year in Africa have to do with his eligibilty...I mean come on that's ridiculous.

Tommy! You asked what information your readers would like to know-- I think it would be great to learn a little more about the students attending CBTS. How many students are there? What is the average age of the students? Are all of the students from Cameroon or do any come from surrounding countries? In general, how long would a student be at CBTS before they complete their program? Just an idea... :-)

elles belles makes a very good point about the uncomfortable mystery of anonymity

But there is something rather "freeing" in remaining "anonymous" - There is something to be said for a bit of mystery in one's life.
